Canned Food Donation Will Get You $5 Admission To The Florida State Fair This Month
The Florida State Fair starts this week in Tampa! The fair lasts for 12 days and will feature over 5,000 animals, games, thrilling rides, entertainment, food, shopping and cultural exhibits! Admission tickets and ride armbands are available for purchase online to make things easier.
Florida State Fair Schedule
The Florida State Fair starts this Thursday, February 7th and runs through February 18th. Here are the hours of operation:
Monday 10AM–9:30PM
Tuesday 10AM–9:30PM
Wednesday 10AM–9:30PM
Thursday 10AM–9:30PM
Friday 9AM–10PM
Saturday 9AM–10PM
Sunday 9AM–10PM

Prices For Admission
Admission and Ride Armbands are priced separately. Weekday armbands are $25 and weekend armbands are $35. Admission depends on your age. Children five-years-old and under get in free. Children ages six to 11-years old get in for just $6 on weekdays and $7 on weekends. Regular weekday admission is $11 and regular weekend admission is $13. Weekday pricing is for admission to the fair on Monday through Thursday, excluding Presidents’ Day.
How To Get Discounted Tickets
You can get admission for just $5 to the Florida State Fair for the last day of the fair. Februrary 18th is Fair Cares for the Hungry Day. It’s sponsored by Feeding Tampa Bay and Publix. All you have to do to get a discounted $5 admission is donated two or more canned or non-perishable food items from Publix at the fair!
